instead of just copying 3.1.5 atop the existing install and upgrading, tried wiping all folders except the "uploads" and config...and reupping 3.1.5 and all seems to work... seems odd though, would remnant files from older installs and not overwritten by 3.1.5 cause issues? seems so.

Try this in your composer.json file in the root folder and do a composer update after the change
"symfony/translation": "4.3.8"
Otherwise try to rename the file TranslatorInterface.php to something like TranslatorInterface.php.old
And see after the recreation it is working again.
Issue is mostly upgrading from older PHP versions.
Does anyone have experience modifying the payment gateway for stripe? I am trying to get the stripe checkout page to display the Afterpay and Klarna as options to use to pay. They are already active within my stripe account, however, once they click the Pay Now on the invoice, they get to the stripe page but the Afterpay and Klarna Options are not listed as payment options. Any help would be great.
