Babiato is back but we need your cooperation (2nd May, 2022)

Dear members of Babiato,

it feels really great that Babiato was able to rerun again even though we lost some major portion of data. Nevertheless, with our collaboration, we will be able to get back to where we were from the time it went down.

Please know that the current version of this forum has a few bugs/glitches and our technical staff is working hard to fix them as soon as possible. if you guys can detect any errors please write them down in this thread since @andykim is willing to fix them all. But don't try to come up with the same bug report that was already stated by somebody else in order to keep this thread clean and accessible.

Let's not start complaining about this situation and how everything is messed up. Please know that we all have lost more or less of our records because of the current situation. So let's not repeat what we have lost and try to work from here to get back to where we were. I would really request everyone to maintain this mindset and help us make this forum great again.

Babiato will soon start to operate on one of its main domains (https://babia.to) as soon as our technical team decides that.

We would advise you not to upload your resources yet until our technical team clarifies their decision of uploading a resource based on the state of the current forum.

Also, there's an official telegram channel of Babiato that you can join to stay updated even if the forum goes down for a while again in the future.

We would advise you not to try to upload any of your resources until our technical team clarifies the decision of uploading. It will be a wise decision to upload the resources again once we think we have everything working in place.

I think guys it is better to upload files and store them on third party sharing files and save the links somewhere so the backup become light and not huge also in case anything happens you still will have the links

Also I suggest to change the hosting because the same thing happend to onehack
Also this form is very active and we don't like to see it down anytime again so for that
please get another hosting in parallel and keep the website in .com and then when it is stable make another coppy each week to .co
In this case you will have

1 website .com live on a server uptodate
and
another website parallel on .co that is stand by and get updated 1 time a week for example each friday or on weekends from the data of the live website

personly I don't trust hosting providers because they can remove your files anytime they want also you will have a working version of the website you can disable the users registration and posting or you can lock it from users just keep it standby to take place anytime needed.

People take vacations and have good time for me I spend my time on babiato I learn alot I see people share plugins which I never saw or new before and there I learn and try and explore so when babiato was down I felt a big loss like I broke my new laptop which for me was everything.

and resources that are half showing owned by the uploader if I go to my resources all my resources are there but not showing under my profile

From my side, I have tested old downloads, and are working great; I think you have recovered a lot, of course, that most recently content has been lost, but there's a huge amount of content that is alive yet.

If the resource is there and active (functional) but not showing under your profile information, then contact @andykim and it will be fixed.

If the resources are not there at present (in real sense), then its due to the lost data of babiato backup which was older.
