Your steps worked but what about the credentials of superadmin, I tried to insert manually but not working, if you could share your running db.sql file, it would be a great help.

look for the file header.php (application\views\backend\header.php)

change the following line

  <a href="<?php echo site_url('home'); ?>" target="" class="btn btn-outline-light ml-3"><?php echo get_phrase('visit_website'); ?></a>

to

  <a href="www.google.com" target="" class="btn btn-outline-light ml-3"><?php echo get_phrase('visit_website'); ?></a>

change www.google.com to your website

nothing it just loads

you need to check wether the files is uploaded and unpacked in these specific directories.

>application\controllers\addons //check whether there is a php file with the addon name
>application\models\addons // whether there is a model file for the addon

The above will help you come into conclusion whether the file was successfully unpacked
