Download the MAC version from https://bootstrapstudio.io/download
Use the patch I put earlier, but replace it in Applications/Bootstrap Studio.app/Contents/Resources or similar! In theory it should work fine!

Hi, in my case I have tried both patches and it has worked well for me. I have created a test project, I have saved it as a project, I have opened it again, I have exported it and until now everything is fine.@genocida
Can you please confirm if this worked alright? If so, which one? The original included one, or the second one?

It basically would not work properly if error with patch!
Fantastic that both are working though. Appreciate the feedback. I don't like to leave anything up that isn't working properly. Some people have issues due to firewall as well.

The OS that I use is Windows 10 1809 (compilation of OS 17763.437) 64bit. The configurations of firewall, as well as antivirus (the one I use is defending windows) are by default mostly, except for certain rules in the firewall that are customized for security reasons, but I do not think any of them are problems so that the Boostrap Studio does not work.
I give you the data so that you have a more precise reference in order to have an idea about which OS has been installed.
How I commented so far I have not had problems for the use of Boostrap Studio, both with the patch that came with the installer, and with the other patch that you offered later. Both so far are working well.

Most people who are getting errors and complaining (another forum I posted on) are using some other sort of anti-virus which is blocking it.
Appreciate your input as it shows it is all working fine with the new version.

Locate the "app.asar" file in the Bootstrap Studio install location.
Windows 10 location: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Programs\bstudio\resources
Copy & Replace the "app.asar" file.
Now you can open Bootstrap Studio and you will be installed/updated to 5.0.3
Will work on Windows/Mac/Linux although your file location of "app.asar" will differ from the steps above.
