Disregard, seems to be working fine now, as I found a key online, and seems to have made it happy

It seems to be the same issue for a license as 2.2.9.1 when trying to update to 2.2.9.2 nulled. Downgrading to 2.2.8.3 for now

you might just try entering some random numbers and see what it does? I don't think it validates, it just does not like the field being blank.
