ShortPixel Image Optimizer

I don't think it can, it works off of an API key. If the API key doesn't match or it's out of credits it won't work.

You can compress images on their site for free though.

I like it a lot more than TInyPNG, they have much better compression.

I have a paid account with them, I got the lifetime deal a while back and use it on all of my sites but most of the time I just use the free side, if the site doesn't have a lot of images. I prefer to compress before uploading.

I did not see any video tutorial, but installing is easy as 123, running the commands are also easy, everything is very simple. Give it a shot first, let me know if you are stucked at some point. You need access to your vps via ssh first or wp terminal plugin.

@opokusamuelasante you have to ssh to the web server in order to install the script. Can't use with shared web hosting.
