Download the nulled version and inside the zip file you also have the activator zip, you can install activator and after that Wordfence from WordPress plugins and enable automatic updates.

It's a plugin.
1. Install activator as a plugin & activate it.
2. Then install & activate Wordfence. All done!

I had a similar problem. The issue can be resolved by expanding access rights for the folders used by Wordfence. Look into this direction.

unzip the file and open the folder: there are two files!
I did unzip it and upload the wordfence-activator zip file, to no avail, oh well, thanks anyway

Installing v7.10.6 seems to have downgraded me to the free version. Everything was working fine until v7.10.5

The same thing happened to me. I also used the Activator plugin. Looks like that's the only option now. It would be nice if it was mentioned when the latest version was released.
If you are using the activator plugin, you do NOT need to download the version from here.
Simply update the Wordfence plugin from within Wordpress and everything will work perfectly.
I know that. You didn't understand what I said. So far I have been using the nulled version without the activator. I thought the latest version was like that, but it turned out not to be. That's why I was forced to use the activator. I hope you understand now what I wanted to say.
